What is the best software for cat sitting?
It depends on where the cats are. A cat boarding facility with suites to assign needs kennel software. If your work is drop-in visits at clients' homes, look for software that keeps feeding, medication and behavior notes for each cat, sends owners a photo report card after each visit, and invoices a trip's visits together. Pet sitting tools such as Time To Pet (from $25 a month), Precise Petcare ($20) and Pet Sitter Plus ($30) all handle in-home cat visits; Time To Pet and Precise add GPS visit tracking. Can cat sitting software charge extra for additional cats?
Yes. In Nuzzo you set, per service, what each cat beyond the first adds to the price, so a three-cat household prices itself on every booking. Leaving it at zero includes extra cats in the base rate.
How do cat sitters send updates to owners?
With Nuzzo you take photos during the visit and add a note about what you observed, such as eating, litter and behavior. The owner receives a photo report card by email when the visit ends. On overnight sits you can also send live photo updates during the stay.
Does Nuzzo track cat sitting visits by GPS?
No. Nuzzo records when each visit starts and ends, but not the sitter's location. If GPS proof of visits is a requirement, choose software that offers it.
