Who shouldn't use Nuzzo (yet)
We'd rather tell you straight than have you sign up disappointed.
- You run a large salon and need per-groomer rosters, individual calendars, and commission splits — Nuzzo books one shared calendar today; per-groomer scheduling is on the roadmap.
- You need vaccinations checked at the moment a groom is booked. Nuzzo stores records on each pet with their expiry dates, but only warns about them when booking overnight stays.
- You run a boarding or daycare facility with kennels and feeding rosters — that's a different tool.
- You want 300 settings screens. We lovingly disappoint.

Grooming software: common questions
What is the best software for a solo or mobile groomer?
Salon platforms are priced around a front desk and several groomers, which fits badly when it is one person and a van. What a solo groomer needs is pricing by dog size, appointment requests that do not need a receptionist, and invoicing. Nuzzo is $29 a month flat, or $79 for a team of up to five, with no per van and no per groomer fee.
How does size based grooming pricing work?
Each grooming service carries its own price for Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, so a full groom prices itself from the dog on the booking instead of from a rate card you have to read out over the phone.
Does Nuzzo send SMS appointment reminders?
No. Reminders and report cards go by email, and text messaging is not built. If SMS reminders are what keeps your no show rate down, that gap is real and a grooming specific platform will serve you better.
Can clients book grooming appointments online?
They can request one. Share a booking link or embed the button on your site, the client picks a service and a date, and it arrives as a request you confirm. Nothing lands in your day without your say so.
