What Nuzzo does not do (yet) in the UK
Better to hear it now than find out in your first week:
- No VAT on invoices. Fine for most sole traders below the VAT threshold, not for VAT-registered businesses.
- Your subscription is charged in US dollars, not pounds.
- No GPS tracking of walks and no SMS reminders. Updates go by email and app notification.
- Bank transfers are recorded by hand. There is no Open Banking connection.

Dog walking software in the UK: common questions
Does Nuzzo work in the UK?
Yes. Pick Europe/London as your timezone and GBP as your currency when you sign up. Your schedule runs on UK time, invoices are in pounds, and dates show day first (22 Sept 2026, not 9/22/2026) across the app, the client portal and the emails your clients receive.
How much is it in pounds?
Nuzzo is billed in US dollars: $29 a month on your own, or $79 a month for a team of up to five. Your bank converts it each month, so the sterling amount moves slightly with the exchange rate, and some UK cards add a small non-sterling transaction fee. The 14-day trial needs no card.
How do my clients pay me?
Each invoice email carries a button for the way you take payment. PayPal opens with the amount already filled in. A Stripe payment link or any other payment link works too. Most UK clients pay by bank transfer, so put your sort code and account number in the invoice note and record the payment against the invoice when it lands. Venmo, Zelle and Cash App are US only.
Does Nuzzo handle VAT?
No. Invoices do not calculate VAT. Most sole-trader dog walkers are below the VAT registration threshold, so this does not affect them, but if you are VAT registered you will need to add VAT another way.
Does Nuzzo track walks by GPS?
No. Nuzzo records when a walk starts and ends and the photos taken during it, not the walker's location. If a client needs GPS proof of the route, choose a tool built around tracking.
Is my clients' data kept under UK GDPR?
Our data processing agreement covers GDPR and UK GDPR. You stay the controller of your clients' details and Nuzzo processes them on your behalf. Read the DPA before you sign up if your clients ask.
